The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has introduced a new General Authorisation Framework designed to foster innovation and growth in the country's telecommunications sector.

NCC clarified Proof-of-Concept Pilots to Validating novel ideas in real-world environments to test feasibility and potential impact adding that
regulatory Sandbox Allowing innovators to test solutions under controlled and risk-managed conditions, promoting experimentation and responsible innovation.
NCC emphasized the Interim Service Authorisation enabling services that do not fit within existing license categories to operate, facilitating innovation and market entry.
